The lineup maintains the heat insulation, transparency, and electromagnetic wave transmission qualities of the Basic Series,
while adding new functions such as anti-fogging.

with analysis, mixing, and coating at the nano level.
Heat Insulation + Fogging Prevention: ICE-µ fog clears
Car window fogging occurs when there is a large temperature difference between the inside of the car and the outside air.
Especially on the windshield, when this phenomenon occurs, visibility deteriorates and safe driving is affected.
To alleviate this phenomenon, RIKEN TECHNOS proposes ICE-µ fog clears, which is a conventional anti-fog film with the added heat insulation performance proven with ICE-µ.
Especially for EV cars, which are expected to become widely used in the future, conventional defogging systems (defoggers) consume a lot of electricity, and the impact on the car’s running distance is not small.
By installing ICE-µ fog clears, the heat insulation and fogging prevention effects will be enhanced, for a double effect to support a safe and comfortable driving experience.
Other Functions
In addition to the ICE-µ series, RIKEN TECHNOS offers a lineup of various functional glass films to contribute to creating a safe and comfortable society.
Anti-Reflection (AR): Realizes best-in-class anti-reflection performance. The lineup also includes outdoor-use grade and antiviral grade film.
Anti-Fog: This film absorbs moisture on the film surface to prevent glass fogging, and combines high transmittance with scratch resistance.
Anti-Stain: Easy-clean film that can be easily cleaned even if dirt adheres to it.
Rear Projection: A film that is transparent but can be used for projecting images using a projector. It has been adopted for show windows, etc., and is also used in taxi windows for advertising purposes.
Recycling: Film based on recycled raw materials that can be used in the entire lineup from the Basic Series to the Unique Series.

The fact that ICE-µ has been used continuously since 2015 is proof that it is highly evaluated for its quality,
while high installation yield and long-term reliability are also strongly demanded as standard equipment.
Particularly in Indonesia and Malaysia, the defect rate has remained extremely low at less than 0.01%,
despite the fact that more than 400,000 units have been installed to date.

Contamination is controlled by a defect detector, and the thickness of the hard coat layer is automatically controlled and corrected.
In addition, visual inspections are conducted by skilled technicians before shipment to control product appearance,
which cannot be captured by detectors.
